Your files and text
Every converter on this site runs entirely in your web browser. The Markdown you type or paste, the files you open (.md, .txt or .docx) and the documents you download are processed on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers, not stored by us and not shared with anyone.
Your last-used converter settings (font, size and page size) are saved in your browser’s local storage so they are remembered next time. They stay on your device, and clearing your browser’s site data removes them.
Images you reference
If your Markdown contains images with web addresses (for example ), your browser requests those images directly from the websites that host them, both to show the preview and to embed them in the Word file. Those websites receive the request like any other visit, including your IP address. We are not involved in that request and don’t see the images.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and may keep it in short-lived server logs for security and reliability. We do not use this information to identify you.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which converters people use and how they find the site. It records pages viewed, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you arrived. It does not receive the text or files you convert.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: analytics cookies are off by default, and Google Analytics receives only cookieless measurements that cannot be tied to you across visits. Everywhere else, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to tell visits apart. You can block these at any time through your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Google’s own handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.
Advertising
The site does not currently show ads or use advertising trackers. If that changes, this page will be updated before it happens.
